Foodjob Nordic is looking for an Innovation Manager to drive progress related to Mille Food’s R&D strategy and business goals and be a main force in developing the Danish organizations R&D infrastructure ahead.\n
\nMille Food manufactures and market infant dairy products. The young and dynamic company builds on Denmarks strong dairy heritage and top of the class position with regards to food safety. The company brand is now present in approximately 10,000 shops all over China as the best-selling infant formula brand from Denmark in China. With Mille’s first 13,000 sqm HACCP and FSSC 22000 certified production facility in Denmark running smoothly, Mille is now looking for expanding in both R&D and production and will hence continue contributing to the growth of Danish production and export as an integrated partner of the Danish food scene. The role as Innovation Manager is a new role intended to be broadly involved in research, development, analysis and new concepts feeding to the NPD pipeline. As the role is not yet completely defined, you will have great influence on your own development in the role. However, some key responsibilities are defined beforehand:
- Being project manager on NPD projects
- Managing and attaining contact to new suppliers and producers
- Ensuring innovative solutions supporting business and R&D strategy
- Establishing insights and overview of relevant markets
- Assist in coordination of new products implementations across departments working in close collaboration with sales in Denmark and China
The position is based in Mille Food’s new facility in Roskilde, Denmark, and refers to the Chief R&D Officer. You must expect travels and meetings with partners and collaborators both within and outside Denmark on a regular basis.
DAS BRINGEN SIE MIT
Besides a technical academic degree as dairy engineer or similar you have some 3-5 years of industrial experience from within the field of infant nutrition or related fields. You also have an understanding of the Danish and European market for infant formula - the related products, the industrial suppliers and the stakeholders.
Understanding of relating NPD to overall business goals is a key element in achieving success in the role. Because of the character of the job, it is important that you have proven project management skills and that you are flexible with regards to handling many different activities and frequent change of focus.
Because of the above and in order to handle the many different stakeholders and cultural diversity in the job, you need to have an extrovert, proactive, and independent personality. Proficiency at working level in English is required and Danish proficiency will be an advantage. So will knowledge about Chinese business culture.
