Site Director (m/f/d) – Botanical Ingredients and Extracts

OUR CLIENT

Founded in 1895, Nexira SAS has grown into a globally recognized leader in natural ingredients and botanical extracts for the food, health and nutrition sectors. Its diverse product range includes botanical powders, antioxidants, soluble fibres and specialized texturizers. The company employs 300 people worldwide and has seven production sites, one of them in Eschenz/Switzerland. The site was taken over from UNIPEKTIN in 2021 and employs around 30 people. The Site Director position is now to be filled.

YOUR NEW CHALLENGE

• Together with your team you manage the site and ensure an efficient and economical production from the receipt of raw material to the delivery of the finished products to the customer
• You actively contribute to the strategic industrial vision and further development of the site as well as implement the necessary action plans after approval by the parent company in France
• You act as an interface and keep an eye on the interests of the various stakeholders, especially in France
• You organize, lead and motivate the team to continuously improve processes, considering quality, safety etc.

YOUR SKILLS

• You have experience as a plant, operations or production manager in the manufacture of food products in an international environment, preferably with similar processes and technologies (grinding, milling, blending)
• Know-how in the optimisation of production processes or modern methods for improving them (LEAN, TPM)
• You own a background in food technology and preferably an additional qualification in business administration
• You are an integrative and communicative personality (German and English) with analytical and pragmatic skills who is open to international cooperation and can provide positive influence strategically and operationally
